Coaching FAQs
Coaching Questions
Find answers to common questions about our coaching services below.
What is your coaching approach?
Our coaching is grounded in clarity, presence, and practical leadership development. We begin with a deep understanding of your current challenges, decision patterns, and leadership context. From there, we work together to strengthen awareness, improve decision-making, and develop strategies that are aligned with who you are and how you want to lead. This is not prescriptive or one-size-fits-all coaching—it’s a collaborative process designed to support meaningful, sustainable change.
Who is coaching for?
Coaching is designed for founders and newly promoted leaders navigating growth, role expansion, and increased responsibility. It’s especially valuable for those carrying the weight of decisions and people leadership who want to lead with greater clarity, steadiness, and confidence. This work is not about quick fixes. It’s for leaders who notice reactive patterns, feel stretched under pressure, and are willing to examine how they think, decide, and show up. If you’re ready to slow down enough to think clearly and lead intentionally, this work can be deeply impactful.
Do you work with companies or only individuals?
I work primarily in confidential 1:1 coaching relationships with founders and leaders. Organizations may sponsor coaching for selected leaders, particularly during transitions, succession, or growth phases. Even in those cases, the coaching remains developmental and confidential, focused on strengthening individual leadership capacity. This is not consulting or training—it is structured executive coaching.
What kinds of challenges do you help with?
Clients often come to coaching to work through challenges such as decision-making under pressure, leadership transitions or role changes, delegation and boundaries, and questions of confidence, self-trust, and clarity. Many are also navigating periods of uncertainty or complexity. Rather than focusing only on surface-level symptoms, the coaching process explores the underlying patterns shaping your experience and how you respond to them.
How is the coaching process structured?
Coaching begins with an initial conversation to clarify your goals and determine fit. If we decide to work together, we design a personalized coaching plan based on your needs and context. Sessions are typically held regularly (weekly or bi-weekly), with space between sessions to reflect, experiment, and integrate insights into real life.
How long does coaching last?
Coaching is not open-ended. Some clients work with me for a few months around a specific challenge, while others engage in longer-term coaching to support ongoing growth. We regularly revisit goals and progress to ensure the work remains relevant and effective.
What results can I expect?
Coaching outcomes vary, but clients commonly report greater clarity and focus, increased confidence in their decisions, and a more grounded way of leading under pressure. Many also experience stronger self-awareness and healthier boundaries, along with a deeper sense of alignment in how they work and lead. Coaching is not about quick fixes—it’s about developing capacities that last.
Is coaching therapy or consulting?
No. Coaching is not therapy, and it is not consulting. I don’t diagnose, treat, or prescribe solutions. Instead, coaching is a forward-focused, reflective partnership designed to strengthen your clarity, judgment, and leadership capacity. The work supports you in making your own decisions well—through structure, presence, and accountability.
How do I get started?
The first step is to schedule a consultation. This conversation allows us to explore your goals, answer questions, and determine whether coaching is the right fit for you at this time. If we decide to move forward, I’ll outline next steps and available options.
What if I’m not sure coaching is right for me?
That’s completely normal. The consultation is designed for clarity—not commitment. Even a single conversation can help you better understand what you need next. If coaching isn’t the right path, I’ll say so.
